Precision In-Line Transfer and Progressive Deep Drawn Metal Stamping of Parts

Gem Manufacturing operates three, large modern facilitates, housing 90 multi-station transfer presses and 40 high speed progressive die presses that enable us to deliver fast turnaround of superior quality precision deep drawn metal stampings.

This complex cold forming process yields high strength, lightweight products faster and more cost effectively than alternative processes. Simple to complex geometries are attainable through a precise, repetitive process capable of maintaining tight tolerances and making more economical use of raw materials. Deep drawn products are free of mechanical seems or joints, have a uniform wall thickness and posses a greater strength-to-weight ratio as compared with other metal forming processes.

To ensure quality and improve response time, Gem has vertically integrated with complete in-house design, tool fabrication, prototype and production capabilities, as well as a long list of secondary services, including finishing, printing, and design-for-manufacturing assessments.

Equipped with technologically advanced machinery capable of fabrication tolerances to +.0004”, we are able to produce parts with diameters ranging from .020"-4.00", wall thickness from .003"-.100", with a draw depth up to 4.00". We work with all types of metals, including aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel and carbon steel, in addition to high performance alloys such as Inconel and Monel. We accept customer designs in all formats, adhere to all relevant industry standards, and provide Kanban programs, vendor-managed inventory services, and just-in-time delivery schedules. Located in the geographic center and birthplace of deep draw technology, we have access to a skilled labor force that exists nowhere else in the world.  Our engineers and toolmakers are highly skilled and continuously trained.  Through focused teamwork, processes are simplified, waste is eliminated and cost driven out of our product. In addition, strategic partnerships with off-shore vendors provide additional cost savings with no compromise in quality. Look to Gem Manufacturing’s deep drawn metal stamping services for complete customer satisfaction.
